Your league
Open your league on ESPN and copy the address bar. Any page works — the
team page, standings, the scoreboard.
A bare league ID works too.
This league is private
ESPN only shares a private league with someone signed in to it, so it
needs two values from your own browser session. There is no other route:
ESPN publishes no API and no “sign in with ESPN” flow.
The browser add-on is installed. It can read these for
you without you touching developer tools.
Copy them across yourself
Sign in to espn.com in this browser.
Press F12 (Windows) or ⌥⌘I (Mac).
Open Application — on Firefox, Storage.
In the sidebar choose Cookies →
https://fantasy.espn.com.
Find the rows espn_s2 and SWID, and copy
each Value.
These two values are your ESPN session. Anyone holding them can act as
you on ESPN, so treat them like a password: paste them here and nowhere
else. We store them encrypted, use them only to read your league, and
delete them outright when you disconnect. Signing out of ESPN cancels
them at any time.
